Hello Members!

A couple issues have been brought to the Board's attention that I'd like to address before the 1st tournament.

1. Cancellations: Most courses require a final count of participants one full week prior to the tournament. Our association is then responsible for greens fees for that count. Therefore, if you cancel within seven days of the event, you are not entitled to a refund UNLESS the course waives the fees.

2. Speed of play: Most courses require that we complete a round in a maximum of 4 and 1/2 hours. We need to do everything possible to satisfy this requirement in order to be invited back. Therefore, if your foursome falls significantly behind the group ahead, please allow the group behind you to play through - golf etiquette and sportsmanship should prevail in all circumstances.
